Yellowstone and Grand Teton Advice

In a couple weeks the family and I are going to both parks -- Yellowstone for four days and Grand Teton for two and a half. My daughters and I went to Yellowstone in late June of last year, which was where I caught the photography bug.

We'll be doing the typical hit and run sightseeing at Yellowstone and at the mercy of the weather elements, but what places are must-shoots for Golden Hours in each park?

Since I caught the photography bug, 90% of my photography has been of birds and another 5% has been squirrels/rabbits/deer, so my landscape skills are very basic. I'd also really appreciate any dummy-proof landscape advice anyone is willing to share.

Finally, my wife loves owls and the resident Great Horned pair near our house is very shy. Are there any good spots for seeing the less shy owl species that reside in those areas?

Thanks.
