I get the battery thing but why do you mention lenses and flashes? When has Sony broken 3rd party E-mount lenses or even 3rd party A-mount lenses?

I used to use Phottix Odin wireless triggers and flashes. They worked well until Sony did a FW update to introduce their own wireless flashes.

I don't use my Odin triggers frequently but just tested them on my A7RII with two F60M flashes after reading your post and don't see any problems. Can you explain further?

The TTL function did not work well after that update. Can you verify it works now? I have F60RM, F60M, F43M, F32M, and F20M Sony flashes.
