2009 Micro Four Thirds debuts: "These cameras are so small, they're like toys. Plus, they will never catch on without a pro spec'd flagship model, Olympus needs to figure out the market."

The Micro Four Thirds debut was in 2008.

And the first mFT cameras were Panasonics. Olympus didn't dip in a toe until nine months later, in July 2009, which is maybe why, from his Olympus centred view, he thinks it started in 2009.

It was a typo. That reading comprehension thing? Or are you just being an @$$?

A 'typo' as in you hit the '9' key rather than the '8' or a 'typo' in the sense that you were under the impression that it was 2009 and didn't bother to check?

Of course, in 2008 there were no Olympus mFT cameras, so the reaction would have been "These cameras are so small, they're like toys. Plus, they will never catch on without a pro spec'd flagship model, Panasonic needs to figure out the market." Was writing 'Olympus' instead of 'Panasonic' also a typo?
