As an Engineer well versed in the design of experimentation, I will tell you that it is very difficult to design an experiment with no bias towards obtaining the results you want. This is so true that I: 1) require other people to repeat my experiments in my absence, and 2) design experiments that are solely intended to prove my previous analyses wrong. Have you ever tried to prove yourself wrong? - it’s not fun.

It is very challenging for rationally minded, emotionally stunted scientists to conduct their work without bias. I can see it when a fellow Engineer is oblivious to their own biases.

So of course the artistically minded folks at DPR are biased. So what? So are you.

Note: no slant towards “artistically minded” folks - I admire them.

I’m going to leave that there, but I’m also going to apologize for.  Life is complicated.
