Your camera comes with a meter, so just use it. Shooting Raw gives you a lot of latitude, so as long as you aren't overexposing you should be able to exceed with your camera whatever you can do with your phone.

Dial up the ISO some. With the larger sensor and larger aperture you are using you have more total light to work with so even at a higher ISO you will have less noise in the file.

Yes, people that say "forget mobile comparison and just learn how to use your camera" are 200% correct, but I am still learning and was hoping to use my mobile as a helper.

Here's something you can't do with your phone. Frame your subject at the longest focal length with your kit zoom, then as you move in zoom out and watch what happens in the viewfinder. Perspective is what makes the camera far more multi-dimensional than what you learn using a mobile phone camera -- embrace that.
