Differences

Both very underexposed!, my phone does much much better!!!

The main thing to remember is that 'phones are designed for dummies, cameras are designed for people who know how to use cameras. (No smiley face added because it is a serious fact that needs to be remembered).

With cameras the individual brand designers may have different ideas about metering and applying output curves to the jpegs. The camera focus and metering is done from the jpeg stream always coming out of the image processing chip and not from the original raw data.

Some makers think boldly and may push up against the highlight end, others may prove more cautious and push the exposure away from the highlights more. This may explain the differences in the shutter speed.

Also the published ISO rating is rarely accurate, one company's 800 may really be 700 and another company may be 900.

It is unwise to compare camera to camera, they all behave differently.

Regards..... Guy
