I just got my Nikon Z7 and I'm looking to get a CPL filter to use with my Z 24-70 f/4 S. Does anyone have any experience with one they'd recommend or a brand they like?

Thanks.

Lensrental ran a test on filters(google for it). Other than that I have not come across any reliable test on filters. CPL reduces light coming in to camera. B+W Kaesemann claims that their filter eats up less light compared to other brands, and also B+W is a reputed brand. So I suggest going with B+W.

Here is a link to the article copyfall was talking about.

That was a fun read copyfall. Thanks for suggesting it!

The article you linked is on UV filters. I think this is the article you are looking for:

https://www.lensrentals.com/blog/2017/09/my-not-nearly-complete-but-rather-entertaining-circular-polarizer-filter-article/

Unfortunately, while lensrentals tested the B+W, they didn't test the Breakthrough CPL. I 'm tempted to break out my spectrometer and compare my Breakthrough CPL with my B+W, but somehow I know I'm not going to get around to it

FWIW, here is a user comparison of the two:

And a comparison from a site
