I'm sure people have their reasonings for buying Profoto, but if this is their big response to Godox, it compounds my decision to pre order my V1's as the right one.

One of them main reasons is that they have Profoto off camera lights and want to control them from an on camera strobe.

Profoto is expensive but the app's and user interface and accessories and build quality spoil you.

I think they charge more than they need to but they are a pretty successful company so they obviously know what they are doing.

I love my B10's and the triggers and the apps work wonderfully.

It is not much different than a GM lens you have to bite the bullet sometimes.

Just to be clear here - I'm only talking about my personal reasonings.

The GM analogy I'll disagree with though; Compare the output of a GM lens with it's cheaper counterpart and you'll tell the difference - compare the output of the A1X & V1, and you won't. I'll happily lust over the Profoto stuff for it's lovely design, but I've never seen anyone able to provide a quantifiable improvement over cheaper alternatives.
