I am not a professional photographer. I shot a lot of portrait of family members and kids (indoor) the kit lens is not bad but not great for indoor. I find new XF56 for 750$ (great price) but the problem is I can't sell it if i don't like it there is no good market for Fujifilm in my country. I don't know if I should get it since I am not pro. I thought about third party lenses but I need the AF.

so I want it but with its minimum focus distance, I don't think that it can be used in any situation other than taking portraits (correct me if am wrong).

what is your opinion?

It's a lovely lens, one of my all-time favorites.

When I first bought the lens I thought it wasn't as tack-sharp as I expected.  I was shooting portraits in decent light handheld.  But then I used it on a tripod and/or with fast duration off-camera flash and was blown away by the sharpness.  So the problem was me.

It's amazing how the tiniest camera shake can take The "snap" out of a lens.
