Re: Art 1: Nijinsky

Vaslav Nijinsky was a Polish-Russian ballet dancer at the beginning of the 20th century. He is regarded as the greatest male dancer of the century for his virtuosity and characterisations, and the sensuality and sexual suggestivity of his dance, together with the new music of Stravinsky, caused fights in the audience when Rites of Spring premiered in Paris in 1913. He is one of those rare artists, whose name is known even by people, who have no real interest in his art form.

Despite this heady success, his dancing career was less than 10 years, and his life ended in the tragedy of jealousy, internment and mental instability.

This sculpture by Georg Kolbe captures him at a happier time in his life, striving to achieve perfection.

By using a fish eye lens and capturing the starlike sun you've contributed to the expression of the statue of this great dancer. The only pitty is that the beam of light did not enlightened the statue. Maybe you can do this in pp.
