I mean the GR2. How do you know there's no baked-in RAW image pre-processing? My eyes tell me otherwise.

IMHO every RAW file is processed to some extent.

Sometimes it's so subtle even purists are happy.

Sometimes it's overdone and then we get the Sony Star Eater.

Sometimes we can detect part of the processing because the manufacturer offered the same camera in two versions (K-1 and K-1 II, with and without the Accelerator Unit). The same processing for which the cameras were praised, becomes the subject of outrage.

I pixel peeped until my eyes bled, then I stopped worrying and paid some 500 euro to have the Accelerator Unit installed in my K-1.
