If you don't want an OVF, doesn't that pretty much rule out Pentax altogether? As far as mirrorless goes, if I was a JPEG shooter (which I am not), Fuji would be my first choice, followed by Micro 43rds. The Olympus Pen-F in particular has JPEG controls and customization that eclipse anything currently on the market.

The nice thing about the Fujis is that if you have been shooting for more than a couple of decades, the ergonomics of the cameras are very familiar. The X-T3 viewfinder is pretty usable. I find EVFs give me a headache, but that one takes a bit longer.

I don't have a problem with EVFs and they have some great advantages (like focus-peaking), but after using them for a while and then picking up a DSLR, an optical viewfinder feels pretty damn great.
