What are your thoughts on the management of the A-Mount since SLT?
What should Sony do with the A-Mount?

In my personal option, Sony A-mount SLT camera is still the best design camera on the market. Sony A-mount SLT camera is the only camera, with unique design that allow Hybrid PDAF, it combine the advantage from both traditional DLSR dedicated PDAF & Mirrorless OSPDAF + EVF. Just imagine a A-mount SLT camera with the combination of D5 and A9 AF system.

Sony A-mount SLT camera also have the best Fully articulated 3-way tilt/swivel screen design and the best full-control vertical grip design as well. Unfortunately, they are not available in E-mount.

In the past, A-mount cameras didn't sell well, because at that time, many old photographers didn't like EVF, and Sony fail to market it. Image sensor in the past aren't so great at low light as well. But thanks to technology improvement, we have far better EVF and image sensor nowadays.

In many review, Sony A99mk2 score higher than Canon 5d mk4.
If Sony willing to make a new A77mk3, it will easily beat D500 and be the best APSC camera.
