I'm currently using an X-M1 as a backup body for my XP2. I’m thinking it’s time to move up to an X-E3 for that purpose, and also as a secondary body in general.

I’m finding that my aging eyes are starting to prefer an EVF over an OVF, and even the XP2 is getting used in EVF mode more and more. An X-E3 seems to make logical sense - the control set is very similar to my XP2. And, it would be a good host for my 14 when I’m shooting using two bodies.

I’ll be using it with my Fuji primes, I doubt I’ll ever adapt anything else to it and I don’t own any Fuji zooms. My Fuji kit is what I carry when I’m going light.

Is there any reason I wouldn’t want to pick up an X-E3 at this point?

My backup body for my X-T3, and X-T2 before that is an X-E3. It is a great camera which is a perfect lightweight travel option. I prefer the RF type body, otherwise I would recommend going with the X-T30.

A different take on an A-10
