Hey guys

I switched from Nikon to Sony not long ago, got the 55mm 1.8 and the 85mm 1.8.

So my thoughts for completing the focal length are between the new 24mm 1.4 GM and the 16-35mm 2.8 GM. I know they are both light lenses and I can get a really good deal on both of them.

Since I already have the Nikkor 14-24 2.8 (with a manual adapter for the Sony) do you think the 24mm is more suitable? The 24mm for me would also be almost half the price of the 16-35mm and that's also good worth taking into account.

I have the 16-35 f2.8 GM and love it to bits. But I am considering adding the 24 f1.4 GM for its compactness and extra stops.

Regardless, I won't give up the 16-35.

If I didn't have either, I would go for the 16-35 first because it is so versatile and such a great performing lens (the 24mm is a bit more "niche" IMO). But your decision must, of course, depend on what your priorities (and shooting styles/preferences) are.
