You might consider:

X-T20 + 18-55mm and 35mm f1.4

The X-T20 is a solid camera and you wouldn't be losing too much against the X-T30 given you're a beginner and not shooting much video (?)

The 18-55 is a perfect 'starter' lens. Great IQ and versatile. It is small and compact and pairs very well with the X-T20

The 35mm f1.4 would give you that Fuji feel good magic to fall in love with.. It is also a good option for a beginner as a fixed focal length Prime will teach good composition and developing an 'eye'. The 'constraints' of using a fixed lens and having to 'zoom with your feet' is invaluable to help develop.

This is especially true at 50mm (equivalent) as you have to work against the 'normality' of the field of view to create interesting photographs.. i.e. Taking 50mm picture from eye-level will result in a composition that can be boring through familiarity (we all see from eye level with a similar field of view)

Welcome to Fuji... Stick with this Forum, it's one of the best

I'm not so much a beginner, but I've just done this very setup.

Buying used and smart, I'm all in for less than the $1300 OP listed for the X-T30 with 18-55mm.
