Af-area mode suggestion for these birding scenarios

I am using Z7 & 500mm PF lens.

I would like to know which AF-Area mode is more suited for these types of scenes. These birds are small. Should that be a factor in AF-area selection? My expectation from AF-system is, no hunting and and AF should not bounce from here and there. I would like to know the AF-area mode that helps achieve these goals.

I do not mind using MF for fine tuning.

1) Light is not bad but bird is surrounded by sticks and they could confuse AF system

2) No distraction and also good light. Easy case for AF system.

c) Bird is in shaded area, with some distractions. Not an easy case for AF system.
