New Tamron 35-150 with adapter?

Having just gotten the Fringer Pro, I'm curious if anyone else is intrigued by the latest announcement from Tamron. It'd be kind of an odd FOV (50-ish to 225mm), but could be a great little all-purpose lens for portraiture.

Anyone thinking that might work? Feels like there's not really a lot of Fuji glass options that would be in a similar territory size/weight/F-stop wise.

And at $799, it's pretty reasonable.

Curious to see how it performs, obviously, but I could see it being a pretty good little lens to have, especially for video given the OIS (VC) included.
