How about Eye Control again?

Several models of Eos film cameras had eye control / eye tracking to select focus points. The best of these was probably the Eos 3. I have an A2E that has it. It works decently well.

I would have thought that, with tech improvements in the last 25 years, it should work even better today, and having the camera focus where you look, instead of having to select focus points with a joystick, etc, would  be faster and more intuitive.

Any idea why Canon has not revisited this?
