Microsoft Office was revolutionary when it was released first 2 decades back. But after Office 2007 it got bloated in every release.

I now use LibreOffice. Its Writer, Calc and Impress as good as MS counterparts.

The database is no match against Microsoft Access though.

My first (1994) version came on a stack of about 34 floppies. I also used the 1997 and 2002 (CD-ROM) editions. 2002 is still useful on minimalist computers.

I resisted upgrading from 2007 onwards, but eventually required full compatibility, so went with MS-Office-365 (2016).

MS-Access was my bread and butter some years back (version 2.0 etc.), but I haven't had any need for DB lately, except for some basic stuff that's better handled with MS-Excel.
