Sony with MC11 and 150-600 contemporary lens

Hi, I am a frustrated Canon user and now have come to the conclusion that canon are way off from producing a camera that suits what I need.

I shoot landscape and wild life and would be looking at the Sony A7R3 but not initially wanting to change all my lens for Sony equivalents. For Landscapes I do not use AF so a standard convertor should be find for wildlife however I would need to use my 150-600mm contemporary lens with AF. I assume that the sigma MC11 would be the sensible choice does anyone have experience with this combination and using it for wildlife including BIF and how many of the AF modes does it reliably work with?

Al,
