Full Spectrum Converted Camera with R72 Filter - False colour possible?

Hi there,

just starting on this journey of infrared and having some issues which might be because I have the wrong filter for the final image result...

I have a canon 50d full spectrum converted

Used a Pentax 50 1.4 prime (old) with an adapter

Hoya R72 filter

Hand Held

I did a custom white balance on the camera before starting, and used a tree trunk which was a kinda grey white since its an Australian tree

I followed some instructions and made a profile for Lightroom with Adobe DNG editor, converted it in Lightroom Camera profile, and then took the image into photoshop for the channel swap. But I can't see to get the pretty pinky/red and the blues. I can get pink but with no blue.

Can you please tell me if I am doing something wrong?

More pinky but no blues

Too Blue
