would there be any use of using a faster card in slow camera which does not go beyond class 10. Would a class 10 card be enough for full HD video or do we need faster speed.

I have an older class 10 card that will not do 1080P video in my SL2. I use it in my PowerShot G11. My advice is to check your owner's manual about cards including class, IHS and V rating and make that the MINIMUM specs you buy.

Certainly these cards would work:

Kingston Canvas React 32GB SDHC Class 10 SD Memory Card UHS-I 100MB/s R Flash Memory High Speed SD Card (SDR/32GB)

SanDisk 32GB Extreme SDHC UHS-I Memory Card - 90MB/s, C10, U3, V30, 4K UHD, SD Card - SDSDXVE-032G-GNCIN

(Couldn't get links to work)

I use the SanDisk and it has worked fine in my SL1 and the SL2 I replaced it with.

They are between 11 and 13 dollars on Amazon.  SD cards have really gotten inexpensive through the years.

Hope this helps.

Glenn
