Anyone have experience with the Tamron 100-400 (2017)?

Hi all,

Awhile back I asked about the options available for stepping up from the EF-S 55-250 STM (https://www.dpreview.com/forums/post/62460953); I was looking for more reach and better image quality. After reading all your helpful input and trying out a couple lenses (the Tamron 18-400 and EF 100-400 IS II L) I think I may have settled on the Tamron 100-400 f/4.5-6.3 Di VC USD. The reviews indicate that it offers great IQ, far better than the Tamron 18-400, while being much cheaper and lighter than the EF 100-400.

However, I have yet to mount the Tamron 100-400 to my M50 to see how it feels. Does anyone here have experience with the Tamron 100-400 that they’d be willing to share, particularly on the most recent generation Ms?
