Where Are The Anti-Exposure Triangle Solutions? Methods?
2

Part of introducing a new paradigm is that you have to explain how to use your existing equipment according to the new principles. It's not enough to say the old system is bad, you have to be able to articulate a better one.

But yet another screed against the exposure triangle appeared in a post in the beginner forum without offering a substitute system. Just a bunch of "don'ts."

Where in their posts is the word "instead"? As in

"Instead of setting your shutter speed, ISO, and f/stop as X, you need to use our system and set it as Y."

And where can I find the documentation of how to set my camera using the non-triangle model for camera exposure? Do I even need to meter? What kind of meter should I use? How do I translate my meter readings into a usable photograph?

I can find lots of people explaining why the exposure triangle is wrong, but nobody tells us how to replace it. Why?
