Z7 White balance problem

Hi, this is probably user error but maybe someone can help me out by suggesting ways around this. I made a bunch of photo's of a Capercaillie from a hide, but quite a few of them seem overexposed to a point that is hard to correct for me in post (could be user error too ). I was using

Z7 / 300 f/4PF with 1.4 x III, handheld, DX mode.

S-mode, minimum shutter speed 1/200, Max iso set to 12800 or so. VR set to normal.

The camera decided to use ISO 2200 and shutter speed 1/200s. I think the focus is OK-ish, could likely be better with shorter times and tripod etcetera.

Comments or suggestions appreciated.
