"Hybrid" photography.
7

This is a "hybrid" post.

I have extensively used the SMC Pentax A* 1:2.8 200mm ED in the film days – more than 30 years ago. I still use it with the K-1, and with a Sony A7RIII.

The images here of the moonset at dawn today were taken with the "hybrid" combination of the A* 200mm and the Sony A7RIII – and sharpened with the new "Topaz Sharpen AI" software.

The A* 200mm is still a stellar tele lens, and performs excellently with modern digital technology.
