Wildlife from the wetlands

I just wanted to share a few pictures taken last Saturday at my local wetlands. I went shooting with Justin from about 3-5:30pm on a beautiful sunny day. Nothing spectacular, but a few keepers I figured might be interesting to a few of you who are into these kinds of pictures.

I'm not going to elaborate much on the bird ID's, but if you have any specific questions, I'll be glad to answer them.

red shouldered hawk

A tri-color heron

A Pied-billed grebe

A Moorhen and babies. Only a face a mother could love.

A great blue heron doing its satellite dish imitation

red wing black bird

Basilisk Lizards - "Jesus Lizard"

Purple Gallinule

Anhinga with moon in the background

Wood storks (love birds)

Great egret

Anhingas with babies calling out for food.

Well... that's it for this week, I hope you liked a few.
