Is Olympus IBIS good enough to leave ON with a tripod?

Just wondering if this advice is from the old days when image stabilization wasn't as good?   I tried a quick test with my E-M10 v2 and 40mm and 150mm focal lengths. I couldn't see a difference in image blurring between leaving the IS on (auto) vs off when using the tripod, remote shutter, and silent mode (heart symbol).
