Photographing flowers with Panasonic-Leica 100-400mm

This is a wonderful lens for general flower photography. Even some tiny things are possible using an Achromat (last example)

Mountain Garland; Elegant Clarkia (named for William Clark of the Lewis & Clark expedition)

Mexican Honeysuckle

Yellow Monkey Flowers

Desert Mallow

Red Penstemon

Blue Phacelia

California Golden Poppy

Rock Purslane

Closeup of stamens on a Dandelion flower, using my Nikon 6T Achromat which shortens the minimum working distance to about one foot allowing magnification. The flower is about the size of a $US 25-cent piece.
