Front to back sharpness

There have been discussions about how to get good front to back sharpness in landscapes with depth that have gone into the tradeoffs between DOF and diffraction, and also focus stacking. Here is another approach. It is not without its challenges, but it can be useful. The full sized image is about 23000 pixels wide. I didn't do any manual interventions here, and there was no attempt to clean up artifacts.

The stitcher was PTGui. It is so sad that Kolor Autopano is no more. Anybody know where I can get a download of the last version? I have a license.

Ressed down by 50% in both directions

Regardless of what the EXIF says, the lens was the Fuji 45 mm f/2.8 on a GFX 50R. No tripod. The PSB file is much sharper than the JPEG after DPR gets through with it.
