Advice - First MF Camera or Wait?
1

Hi Currently shooting with Canon 1DXMKII's

Best sports camera IMHO.

However, my fashion and portrait work need an upgrade in resolution.

The new 1DXMKII is out before the Olympics, if there is enhanced resolution perhaps I can get by and use existing glass.

If not, I'll need to dip my toe into MF.   The 645z was interesting as it's weather sealed and I shoot a lot outdoor on beach and around water.

I know it's an older platform.   This for me will be a luxury.   Can anyone recommend what my "next step" might be from a glass and body perspective?

Shooting fashion week, 95% of us are on Nikon or Canon using a 70-200.  Upping my game here I'll need to shoot at a fairly rapid fps, kick butt focus and a lens option from front to back of runway at 70-200 equivalent.  Shadow recovery is essential for runway and need to shoot at or above 1/500 without noise to freeze model and garment movement.

Any thoughts?  Thank you
