I assume you have the Exp. Comp. display on in the EVF. There's a setting in the menu that re-sets EC to "0" after turning cam. off in all Panny bodies I've had - if this is what you mean - that it starts up with EC not zeroed.
It's hard for me to imaging that you would NOT want to see the effect of exposure changes on the EVF and live histogram...as would see shooting in live view in your Nikons...which is the game-changing attribute of the mirrorless revolution.
