Question about "alike"

Sonyalpharumors often writes something like this:

Sony interview at DPreview: Sony A7s alike APS-C camera is a

In the US we would say "Sony A7s-like..."

So I'm wondering if this use of "alike" is a British idiom or does the editor of Sonyalpharumors just not know what the accepted idiom is in English?

Please clarify for me.
