The extender for the view finder is EP-EX15 II. The other great thing about this adapter is I don't get nose prints on the LCD any more.

I just searched Canon's Web site for "EP-EX15 II" alone, with" viewfinder", with "extender", and got all sorts of accessories listed. But, none of them appeared to be what you referred to. This sounds like something I could use.

Additional information, maybe an image of it, if that's not too much trouble, would be greatly appreciated.

Look on a site such as Amazon - in the UK (where I am) there are big illustrations of both versions - search on EP-EX15 and EP-EX15 II. Canon's been a bit lax about keeping the information up to date about these on their websites, it seems. As far as I know (I don't have one) they only differ in the details of their manufacture. Here's a summary from the website of a reliable UK retailer: do note the image size comment, and owners who have reviewed it on the site do confirm that - for some, it's a disadvantage.

"For most Canon EOS series DSLR except the 7D and 1 series, the EP-EX15II Eyepiece Extender extends the camera's viewfinder by 15mm, thus bridging the gap between your eye and the viewfinder. This allows operation of the viewfinder without needing to press closely to the back of the camera and is more comfortable to use. The viewfinder extender also reduces the image size, which can be useful in assisting composition."
