All of them are straight out of camera.

I disagree about the resistance to flare: the second, third and specially the forth image have the sun directly in the frame. The fact that you didn't noticed it is proof, I think. XD
The only advantage that the DA 15 has is its starburst.

Your right, sorry I'm must have had my mind somewhere else, so many pictures so I maybe rushed through them.. The main advantage of the DA 15 ltd is that it's small, and if you don't need the flexibility of the zoom it's much cheaper, especielly if you buy it used. I have gotten the HD version and with the rounded blades the starbursts are less effective, on the otherhand the bokeh effect when close focusing is more pleasing.

You're right about the filters, it is so much convenient.

Filters are a big investment so I'd have to justify the expense on top of the price of the lens.. RIght now I have the filters for the DA 15 ltd so that gives it edge for me personally at this point in time.
