I've had some more time to play around with the XT100 and the XT20 and I'm finding that even though they are small, I'm really looking for the absolute smallest footprint I can manage without sacrificing image quality.

It looks like the rangefinder-styled X-E3 is even smaller and has the insides of the XT20, and the X-A5 has the smallest body out of all the Fuji ILC's and its at a price that's really hard to ignore.

As I've already got a Canon EOS R for my professional event work and an M50 as a B Cam for when video needs it, I think the X-E3 might just be overkill as a lightweight, travel-ready jpg machine.

Thanks to all who've been able to chime in with their experience so far. I'll consider weighing my options here as I'm absolutely floored with Fuji's color output and I have to find my way into the X system one way or another. Its getting tougher and tougher to return the XT20 I'm currently borrowing.

What is your primary consideration here, I have xtrans(x-h1) and x-t100 and in terms of iq x-t100 will be on the heals of your eos r, obviously it doesn’t have the outright resolution to challenge it but it will shock you! X-t100 is also pasm and it has been provided with a top configuration dial that most of us use for iso, which has 3 configurable auto iso’s. The ev dial on the top right dial completes a very nice set up and I do like the vertical back dial for magnifying focus check. The af button is also soft on the screen and is far superior to the front af selector of other xtrans models. Overall I like the x-t100 it is very very accomplished in most areas with very dependable af.
