Moving from Canon 6D to RP because face/eyeAF servo mode or maybe 6Dii?

Hi everyone, I'm Stefan and I'm currently using Canon 6D paired with Sigma 35mm ART. In between architecture/automotive shots, I'm doing a lot of self style photography because I do not always have someone to take a photo of me and when I do they miss 9 out of 10 shots.
I'm using canon camera remote app and I have a lot of troubles taking perfect shot because 6D AF system in live view mode is just terrible, there is 11 points, but actually only 1 center point works so I need 10 minutes for just couple of shots. I need to activate the app, frame, focus (which also takes couple of seconds), click shutter button on my phone than hide it and wait for the timer, all that while not moving because I will get out of the focus. Basically I realised that I need this

Has anyone being able to compare eos rp to the 6dii for this feature? EOS RP has 100x 6dii focus points and its newer, it will get better fws in feature, does it work already better in reality?
Will switch from 6d mark I be worth just because of this ffeature? Keep in mind that I do not need it for extremely fast moving subjects and sport, also I don't expect 90% hit rate, if I get 10% out of 100 shots I'm sold than. Doing this with 6d is just agony, af is definitely not up to the task.
I think that sony a7iii kills canon with this feature but it is too expensive, especially considering that I would need new adapter for my C mount sigma. EOS RP comes with it for 1300$
Sorry for my bad English, best regards
Stefan
