Re. peaking: In my experience it shows more in focus than there actually is. Therefore I use magnified view only. The difficulty is sometimes the EVF&shutter-lag, which can lead us to think we make the shot in perfect focus, but in the meantime the subject has moved. Especially with very narrow DOF, and in low light, this can be an issue.

(I never understood why there is shutter lag when shooting in full manual mode incl manual focus, but sometimes it's substantial.)
