This lens was already on my list, but I believe it might have just got bumped up a couple of pegs. I just wish it was a touch cheaper (but that's how I feel about everything I suppose).

At 500 + it's an expensive Chinese lens.

The lens being chinese shouldn't take away from it being optically great, having amazing build quality and overall delivering amazing pictures.

This isn't some stolen product that they rebuilt for cheap, there is real quality stuff coming out of China now.

Just think about all the whining on this forum when the X-T3 was announced to to be produced in china, now it is being hailed as one of the best cameras of 2018...

Didn't know that about the X-T3. To be honest I stopped shooting for roughly 3 years and just started again with a new X-T3. I love the camera for the control it gives me.

Chinese lens for a Chinese camera?
