Funny you bring this lens up.

Two days ago I used it on a shoot with my X-T1, after it spent a lot of time in the drawer.

To be honest, I was a little frustrated by the slow and inconsistent focusing of the lens, and focus by wire means no actual manual focus. Especially for low light, I will still certainly stick to the 7artisans 35 1.2, even at f/2.0 or smaller apertures.

However, the rendering of the 35 2.0 is indeed not bad at all, and I have to reconsider my initial assessment (which was indifferent/bland)

Overall, my appreciation of the Fuji 35 2.0 lens has increased substantially

Interesting. (really)

That is, I don't recall the lens being slow or inconsistent (used in low light for the most part), but then again I only have the v2 of the XPro or X-T bodies.
