Does it do the same with other lenses if you have any? Perhaps it's a camera problem?
Unfortunately I do not have any others. Manual lenses yes, they are all ok without connection of course.
Now that you have a 100% occurrence rate, perhaps the store has a second camera you can use for a test?
Yes, I will eventually go to a store. I just hoped somebody here would have had a similar problem and made my day in explain how to solve it in 2 minutes No luck as it seems. Thanks in any case for helping.
FWIW - I have that lens on an X-E2S and have never experienced any issues.
Thanks Justin, I like the combo a lot ! Will keep you posted when I manage to resolve.
I put a 15-45 zoom on my X-e2 and wasn't sure the zoom function was working correctly. I called fuji support and they grabbed their service X-e2 and put a 15-45 on it to check the behavior. Turns out the firmware on the X-e2 doesn't seem to work correctly with the fast zoom during video on the combination. They confirmed it while I was on the phone. Now I have the X-t30 this feature works fine. Go ahead and call them, you'll get a real person and they will be very helpful.!
Also coal you memory card and reinsert it. I was getting write errors on my X-e2 until I did this.
