Re: K1 vs K1 II Colors Different/Better?

As Zakaria said, the main advantage is better AF-C.

I feel the entire camera might be a bit "zippier" in its operation. Buffer depth and fps however are the same.

Hand-help pixel-shift is nice, I've had some surprisingly better than single exposure results with it, shooting low light landscapes. Handheld obviously..

As for colors, i have not noticed any difference at low ISO.. Jpg skin tones are, as before, very customizable, with the "portrait" color prifile and a further 2 or 3 skin tone settings. Raw skin tones depends more on the RAW developer you have. If your trouble is with skin tones, try Capture One. The level of tweaking and accuracy of the skin tones is fantastic. I use lightroom now, as it is more practical for me, for my non-pro use, but this aspect of C1 i really miss. Seriously, if you have trouble with skin tones, give C1 a try!

At high ISO, thanks to the accelerator, i think that colors are significantly more accurate, with lower color noise levels. Arguably at the cost of some detail. Personally i prefer the new high ISO files. Maybe if you want to print huge, the old files would be better, but who prints a high ISO image that big!?

My 2 cents...
