That's for sure, Andrew.  The Riviera would use about twice as much gas as my Kia, and not regular gas.  Those had Eaton superchargers on them.  They had that old antique V6 Buick introduced in 1960, a very hard engine to break.

A friend had one of the last supercharged Rivieras. a 1998. There's no lag like a turbocharger.  When you hit the gas hard it flips a switch, engages the clutch in the supercharger and it happens right now.

Ah yes, dandelions in the air cleaner coming up.  Since I almost didn't see Spring in 2013 I am surprised and delighted each time a new one comes up.

It's snowing in the mountains here this week.  I would not head East over either of the two highways over the passes to get inland.  The Pacific keeps the coast warm in Winter and cool in Summer.  As long as it doesn't get shook up it's good to be near.  Rich
