Went "fishing" this morning with the Sigma 60-600mm Sport on the M5

Over the weekend, I saw ring-necked ducks at Brinton Brook Sanctuary, but they were far away on the other side of the pond, even for the 966mm effective focal length of the Sigma 60-600mm on the M5. This part of the pond is totally surrounded by swamps, especially at this time of year and is why the ducks do not venture far from this safe area with no people. This morning I went back, determined to make my way on foot through the Red Swamp and get as close to the shore, and the ringed-necks, as I could. The delicate trek was worth it as this is what I caught:

A male Ringed-neck duck, Aythya collaris, with the Sigma 60-600mm Sport on the M5 (downsized).

Note that this image is already on my website, which means it can be seen in the Sigma 60-600mm Sport on M5 Collection here . Note that the Slideshow button will give the largest full screen image.

Now I have all the other images from this morning to go through.
