As a retired person I am fortunate that I am not time constrained, I never leave the house without my DSLR, if I am on foot it will be around my neck, switched on, 200 ISO, aperture set to f5.6 as a starting point, I am ready for anything interesting ( in my opinion ) that I feel would make an image. I do not switch on or off my mood, without sounding pompous I always think my lifetime best image will be just around the corner and I want to be ready for that moment, just my personal approach to photography.
