I fell in the creek today and completely submerged my A-68 and 70-400mm G2.  I'm currently letting them dry out.  Opened all the doors on the camera and just letting it sit.  The SDHC card works fine - downloaded all the files.

The lens is the real disaster - front element is completely fogged.  The rear element looks okay.

The camera is cheap ($600) and has 55,000 clicks on it, so it's easy to just order a new one.

The lens is nearly six years old, has been used almost daily and nicked up cosmetically, but the glass is fine (up to now) and it has been excellent optically.  I'm wondering if it's worth sending to Precision to get it repaired?  Any thoughts and/or experiences appreciated.
