Tracing Time between Damascus and Tripoli.

I had to travel between Tripoli, "Lebanon" and Damascus, Syria to document what could probably be the very last generation of the famous Arabesque wood and copper artisans. What these artists do by hand is mind blowing. “Time means nothing here, some pieces take days, weeks or months to finish, others may take years, this is more like a lifestyle than a job, we enjoy the journey” they said.

And finally a typical Damascene house where an open-air water fountain is always the center stage of the space surrounded by house's rooms.
