Still Testing and Practicing with the Sigma 60-600mm Sport on the M5
7

After hooking up the Sigma 60-600mm Sport lens to my PC and making adjustments to the focusing speed, stabilization properties and focus limit distances, which are then saved on one of the lens' custom modes, I took it out today to test down at Croton Point. Icy gale force winds were blowing off the river, making the tests even harder than they should have been, but I like my new settings for speedy acquisition and capture of my subjects. Most of what I shot today was throw away testing, but I did come home with a few keepers as well, a few of which I'll share here. All were from later in the day when the sun was going down:

The Sun breaking through the clouds disturbs the nap of an Adult Eastern Screech Owl, Megascops asio, at Croton Point.

There are now 30 images with the new lens on my M5 in the Collection on my website. The images are in the order taken over the last week and you can see them here .
