A strange thing about Z 24-70/4 S
1

I just took my new Z6 + 24-70/4 for a walk to test, and one strange thing I noticed is that I clearly see sunstars at f/4. They are most pronounced at 24, somewhat less pronounced at 30, barely visible at 50, and absent at 70. Sunstars are 14-point. If this in not a fault of my copy of the lens, it appears to me that the lens is actually somewhat faster at the wide end, and is stops down a little to become f/4.0. It may actually be something like 24-70/3.5-4.0 or similar. Nikon probably limits the aperture at the wide end to maintain some level of aberrations or vignetting.

Could you confirm that I am not alone seeing the sunstars at 24 mm f/4? (I say sunstars, but actually these were stars around streetlights, as it was in the night).
